Rendering is the process where you add textures lighting and many additional subtleties. This process is a trial and error process. The process is an interesting blend between the technical and the aesthetic. The render software I'm using is called Kerkythea and is a free software.

The purpose of this blog is to be a working reference for the individuals working on the creation of this project. Its second purpose is for the research and information of interested persons. The goal of the project is to have a living timeline in Google Earth that will show the changes that have taken place in the architectural history of Yreka. It is intended that it will be a "living document" which means that many individuals can add and modify information in the future. Source programs for its development will be, Google Earth, SketchUp, Picasa, You Tube, others to be announced
